A. YES. SCAIA provides its members with excellent networking events,
which greatly help members find new employment opportunities; and members can take advantage of the PLUS+ training
program to gain the skills necessary to write professional estimates.
Q. I work as an estimator for a body shop. Does SCAIA provide its benefits to body shop employees?
A. YES. Because your primary role as a body shop estimator is to write auto damage repair estimates that will be submitted
to insurance companies, you are as much an insurance appraiser as a staff appraiser working directly for an insurance company.
Q. Can I volunteer to help host SCAIA events?
A. YES. SCAIA members are very active in helping plan events and we always welcome their support.
